Easter Reflections | "Glorify His Name!"

SHOW NOTES: Jesus raised His eyes to His Heavenly Father in prayer. This is such a valuable example Jesus has modeled for us. In this passage Jesus prepares Himself through this time of intercession with His Heavenly Father. He has glorified the Father as an obedient Son! Then, He prays for His disciples and for those who will believe in the future. Jesus knows the disciples received the words He taught; and they truly understood that Jesus was sent by the Father. He prays, “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” Jesus also prayed for those who would hear the Word through the disciples and believe in His name. God the Father and Jesus, the Son of God, are glorified when we walk by faith and live a life of obedience. Each day we should seek to glorify His Name!
