Open the Book of Psalms to Chapter One and you will find a beautiful piece of Hebrew wisdom poetry. The blessed man finds favor as he follows the psalmist’s instruction - do not “walk, stand, or sit” with ungodly companions. But rather, delight and meditate on the written Word of God, day and night. You will be like a tree, firmly planted by streams of water and will prosper. The Lord watches over the path of the godly.
