SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:8-9

SHOW NOTES: For encouragement on your spiritual journey, we invite you to visit our ministry website, Discover God's Truth, where you can access additional resources to enrich your Walk with God

As Paul concludes his letter to the believers in Philippi, he urges them to apply these teachings in their lives

·      "Rejoice. Again, I say rejoice!"

·      "Do not be anxious. Pray about everything."

·      "Give thanks for all He has done."

"Then, you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds." Philippians 4:7 (NLT)

The believers in Philippi had learned and received many valuable lessons from Paul, their teacher. They had personally heard his teaching and witnessed his example. Paul urged them to apply these teachings in their daily lives.

"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8

The most challenging area of sin in a believer's life is not the sphere of actions but the discipline of thought. Dr. Dwight Pentecost

As we practice these things, Paul tells us, “The God of peace will be with you.”
